January Hopefuls

Not only is it a new month, but also a new year, so happy new year everyone. I wanted to start writing a monthly TBR list of books I hope to get to in that specific month.

So here's the books I hope to read this month.

Tell Me I'm Worthless by Alison Rumfitt
I'm reading this one as part of the Read Diverse Horror Reading Challenge, in part as I love a haunted house story.

Linghun by Ai Jiang
This one too is for the Read Diverse Horror Reading Challenge. It's a short read, but somehow I think it will be a good one.

Bad Cree by Jessica Johns
As I wanted to read more horror by Indigenous authors, I got my hands on Bad Cree, especially as it sounded like an interesting read.

The Daughter of Doctor Moreau by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
I've had this one in my TBR for quite some time, so I figured out it was time to get my act together and read it.

White Smoke by Tiffany D. Jackson
White Smoke is another one of those books that's been on my TBR for a while, and as I love ghost stories, I figured out it was time to pick it up.

The Starving Saints by Caitlin Starling
I've heard a lot about this one, which made me a bit curious, especially as I've already read Yellow Jessamine by the same author.

The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix
Considering all the hype, I'm a bit wary of this one, but it could turn out to be good as it deals with a popular trope in a hopefully interesting way.

Witchcraft for Wayward Girls by Grady Hendrix
Considering the topic and that the author is male, this could go bad really quickly, but as it's an important topic, I'll give it a go.
