February Hopefuls

A new month and a new TBR pile of books I hope to read this month. Fingers crossed I'll get through quite a few of these books.

The Reluctant Dead by Nuzo Onoh

The Reluctant Dead is a short story collection that looked a bit interesting, and as I'm not one to read that many short story collections, I decided giving it a go.

Where the Dead Brides Gather by Nuzo Onoh

Another book by this Nigerian author that I've got in my TBR this month, but this is a novel. From what I gather, it has themes of possession and malevolent ghosts, among other things.

Voodoo Dreams by Jewell Parker Rhodes

I've had this book on my shelves for quite some time and I felt it was time I picked it up. It's a historical novel about Marie Laveau, which sounds like a fun read.

White Smoke by Tiffany D. Jackson

Another book I've had on my TBR shelves for quite a while and one of those I felt the need to read sooner rather than later.
