October Hopefuls

It's officially spooky season, which makes me really happy. As it is October, it's also time for another monthly blog post about the books from my TBR which I hope to read this month. As it's the month of Halloween, of course there will be a couple of spooky Halloween-themed books in my TBR.

Here's the books I hope to read this month.

The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury

I read Something Wicked This Way Comes by this author a few years ago and enjoyed it, so I'm looking forward to this one.

Halloween Fiend by C. V. Hunt

Halloween Fiend sounded like such a fun read, so I couldn't resist getting my hands on this one. It's also a really short book, so I can easily get through it in a day.

The Halloween Store, and Other Tales of All Hallows' Eve by Ronald Kelly

Sometimes it's nice changing things up a bit with some short stories, and as this collection has a Halloween theme to it, it's a fitting read for October.

The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux

I'd love to read this gothic classic, as I've got a weak spot for the musical.

Witchcraft for Wayward Girls by Grady Hendrix

I've heard so much about this novel, it would be interesting to read it sooner or later, just to see if it's worth the hype.
